The Champion of Education
With the heart of gold, amiable Board Member Anna Lyn C. Dialde rocks the cradle for education, amplifying the ardors that Gat Jose P. Rizal, the national hero, the artist and an educator, said that “Education is the way to escape poverty”.
A humble servant from the legendary island known as Lalaking Bukid, a man-like lying island which panoramic gesture throwback its time since the creation of the world, Board Member Dialde started her public service as Barangay Health Worker (BHW) in Barangay Coring, Basilisa, this province in 1998 to 2000.
Had love on children, she opted to serve as Day Care Worker in 2000 – 2004, and run her first attempt in the political arena which she was catapulted in the Sangguniang Barangay in 2005 to 2008.
Abreast with the contention to serve the people especially the youth, she enshrined of holding the highest position in the barangay level. Barangay Captain Dialde emanated her openness to education by inspiring the youth to pursue their study.
She held barangay position till 2018, and in 2019 local election was concluded where she run for the position of Sangguniang Panlalawigan in District 1 and won in the political battle.
She run for a cause. Her “Cry for Education” is at the wishbone of hope for Dinagatnons, for the youth of Dinagat Islands. As a Chairperson on the Committee on Education, she embarked legislation for scholarship program and support multi-faceted activities and events and other developments with the Department of Education, Schools Division Office, Dinagat Islands, and other private partners in education.
